Summary: My wife and I needed a few days of relaxation and this was perfect - accommodation had everything we needed and the pool is perfect - very quite area - sir in the sun by the Poole and just read a book!.... buy your food, wine about 1.5 miles from the accommodation - both the property owners are just brilliant - recommended!

Summary: When we booked this accommodation, we were looking for a place that was fairly central, from which we could explore Provence. We wanted a place in the country so that we did not have to deal with city traffic, narrow streets and congestion. This place was ideal! We had no idea that we would also have such charming hosts. Simone and Marc made us welcome from the moment we arrived. We were greeted upon arrival with refreshing cold beer, or wine, and a chance to sit with them on one of their beautiful patios. They also took us to see Ventabren, a charming hilltop village nearby, and an interesting aqueduct in the area. The rooms were spotlessly clean with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking or reheating prepared meals. (Note: You do need to shop for provisions as there is no corner store or restaurant. Your hosts will show you where the nearest Carrefour is.) Best of all there is a washer and a dryer! Such a bonus when you have been traveling for a few weeks! Simone and Marc were so gracious and, with our very limited French, their limited English, sign language, and a bit of help from Google Translator, we communicated very well and had some good laughs together! What makes this accommodation and experience stand out from all others is the personal contact. Interacting and bonding with interesting people make warm and happy travel memories long after the monuments are forgotten. Thank you Simone and Marc for a very special stay! We hope you will visit us in Atlanta.

Summary: We stayed in Marc and Simone's apartment for two weeks and it suited us perfectly. It was very comfortable and very convenient to all the sights of the area. It is an easy trip to Aix center, Cassis, Arles, Marseille and Luberon hill towns. The setting itself is rural, just outside of Aix in an area called Les Milles. It has a good sized commercial area nearby for any travel necessaries. As for the apartment itself, it was good sized with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the dryer...something you don't see very often in Europe. Despite the fact that neither my husband or I spoke French fluently, our hosts were most gracious and helpful. With limited French and sign language we communicated quite well.

Summary: You feel as though you're out in the country but Aix is literally two minutes away by car. Perfect place for a base from which to travel and see this part France. Stunning property that beckons you to relax and melt away any stress. The 1 bedroom suite had a fully equipped kitchen and your own private patio to sip a coffee. Tastefully furnished, spacious and very clean. Our hosts were fabulous!! Simone picked us up from the train station and she and Marc spent a whole day showing us around the area. Highly recommend this property!!!
